I understand where you are coming from my point is that there are people who are doing everything they can and still don't make enough to survive I have been struggling for 3 years to keep my head above water I have had to Deal with the department of Social Services when they removed my stepdaughter from her mother and the court systems to get her into a stable safe home with me I have 2 other children that are disabled and have lost numerous jobs because I always had to leave to go to the schools for the children i would receive 6-7 phone calls a day about it now I am unemployed and stuck in a bad spot and yes I am stuck I have exhausted all the routes I know and even ones suggested the fact of the matter is that there are people looking for a free ride...but there are also people who are just looking for a steping stone to help them along after years of struggle
I don't think most of these posts are looking for a free hand out I believe like myself they are looking for some help with getting resources and support to be able to be independent
I am a Mother of 4 children, My 12 year old stepdaughter whom I have gaurdianship of due to both her biological parents ahaving drug addictions, a 7 yr old girl with ADHD ODD BiPolar and Asthma, a 5 yr old girl with Autism and a 4 yr old boy, I have been seperated from my husband for over a year and been struggling to support myself and children I live in Boston ma. at my parents 4 bedroom apartment there are 10 of us in the apartment and we are over crowded I receive public assistance and my autistic child receives SSI. Due to the emotional traumas that myself and children have been subjected to I am trying to relocate to the Charlotte area in North Carolina the problem I am running into is I do not receive any child support and do not have the financial means to make a move such as that. I am looking for any programs or resources that may be able to help me to make a fresh start and a better way of life and better quality of life for myself and children any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
